Welcome to Evergreen Escape! Located between Grindstone Lake and Lac Courte Oreilles, our cabin is the perfect base for your Hayward getaway. Enjoy fishing, boating, and swimming on nearby lakes, or hit the CAMBA trails, ATV/snowmobile routes, and golf courses like Big Fish and Hayward Golf Club. Try your luck at Sevenwinds Casino or explore the town’s shops, breweries, and the famous Fishing Hall of Fame. Whether you’re after outdoor adventure or cozy cabin vibes, Hayward has something for you.
Welcome snowmobilers and ice fishermen! You are just seconds away from grindstone lake to set up those tip ups and your shack. We are located on trail 3, so you can ride snowmobiles right from the property! We have room to park 1 trailer with 1 vehicles, or just two vehicles.
The cabin features a single bedroom with a full-size bed and queen pullout couch bed to comfortably sleep 4. The living room also includes a second full sized couch and a flat screen tv. The full kitchen is equipped for home-cooked meals and the dining table seats four. The secondary seating area has a full size couch and an accent chair.

Grindstone Lake
Step outside and you’ll find a private back patio with a gas grill and dining table for four. Enjoy the beautiful string lit fire pit area equipped with adirondack chairs and a hammock. Firewood, fire starters, and a lighter are provided for guests. The spacious lot allows for plenty of room for playing yard games, or throwing a ball around.

Guest access
The shed near the fire pit is not accessible to guests.
The small shed is the neighbors. Please stay away from it.
There is room for approximately three cars in front of the cabin. There is also a couple of options for parking a vehicle with a boat, Atv/Utv, or snowmobile trailer. Please be careful of parking on the drainage field north of the cabin.
